2451 new Covid cases detected in last 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus infections to 4,30,52,425. According to the Union Health Ministry data, India's active cases increased to 14,421.

India also reported 54 fresh Corona virus related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of death in India to 5,22,116.

The combined active cases 0.03 per cent of the total infections, while the national Cronoa virus  recovery rate remained at 98.76 per cent, the Union Health Ministry said. An increase of 808 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a last 24 hours.

The daily positivity rate was recorded as 0.53 per cent and the weekly positivity rate as 0.43 per cent, according to the report of Health ministry.
