From an statement from police official said 4 people died after a slab of an old building collapsed in Yadadri-Bhongir district of Telangana on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner of Bhongir police stated that "Accidentally a part of the old building collapsed and crushed four people to death who were standing under the roof of the old building.

Local people of the area helped the police in rescue work and send the injured in local hospital.

Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed her deep condolences to the families of the victims of the incident. She told district authorities to help the injured as best as possible with medical care.

A police case has been registered and the further investigation will process by police.
