On Monday in a incident of building collapse in Satya Niketan area of Delhi two people have been dead as per report. According Delhi fire department's report 6 people were rescued while 1 is still trapped inside the building.

As per the official report six fire tenders were rushed to the spot for the rescue work.

South Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Mukesh Suryan said in a statement thath the building owner wanted to repair the building. He also said that the building was notified in danger zone.

"On March 31 we had issued a notice that the building is in danger zone. We also reported it to the police and SDM on April 14, he told in his statement.

As the Delhi fire service got the call about the building collapse in Satya Niketan area, six fire tenders rushed to the spot and started rescue operation, the officials said.

National Disaster Response Force team with their trained dogs are involved to detect the victims trapped in the building.
