On Monday the Indian Coast Guard informed that they seized a Pakistani boat 'Al Haj' with nine Pakistani nationals, on the Indian side of the Arabian sea carrying heroin worth about 280 crore in Indian rupees.
The operation was done in cooperation with Anti-Terrorism Squad of Gujrat.
Indian Coast Guard told that the boat was carrying heroin worth approximately Rs 280 crore. The 9 Pakistani nationals were arrested and is being brought to Jakhau for further investigation.
According to early report, the nine crew members of the board are believed to be Pakistani nationals caught in the attempt to smuggle 55 kg of heroin worth of Rs 280 crore by a boat near Jakhao fishing harbor off the Gujarat coast.
Anti-terrorism squad of Gujrat reportedly got information with the help of the Indian Coast Guard about the drugs being brought from Pakistan, the boat was coming from across the border was spotted, and necessary action was taken.
