Plane caught in storm while landing-40 injured

On Sunday May 1, a SpiceJet plane got caught in storm while landing at Kazi Nazrul Islam airport in West Bengal. According reports at least 40 passengers of the flight got injured in this incident.

Due to the storm the plane started diving in the mid air. 10 out of 40 injured passengers suffered serious injuries in this incident. The injured passengers have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Doctors said the ten critically injured passengers are now out of danger. An investigation is conducted to find out how the plane got stuck in the storm. 

SpiceJet officials reported that its Boeing B737 aircraft operating fight SG-945 was operating from Mumbai to Durgapur, which got stuck in storm during landing, which cause injuries to some passengers. SpiceJet officials expressed regret over the flight incident and said they will help all injured passengers in all possible way.
